Facilities

Medstead Parish Council is responsible for public open spaces, such as the Village Green and its facilities, including including the outdoor gym equipment and the children’s playgrounds. It also owns two further ponds, the area known as The Knapp on South Town Road and the newly acquired (through developers contributions) wildflower meadow off Trinity Hill. It maintains St Andrew's churchyard and owns and manages Medstead Cemetery including the newly acquired area (again through developers contributions), at the rear of the Cemetery for future cemetery expansion for the benefit of the local community.

Allotments

Also acquired through developers contributions, Medstead Parish Council now owns the new allotment site at Nelson Drive where the allotments will be administered through an allotment association.

All enquiries for an allotment tenancy should be sent to membership.medsteadallotments@gmail.com.

Adult Gym Equipment

With funding from developers contributions, Medstead Parish Council has installed new adult gym equipment on the village green in Medstead for use by adults.

Please note that this equipment is NOT suitable for children to use.

The pictures below show the equipment available for use.
