Medstead Cemetery is owned and has been administered by Medstead Parish Council since the late 19th century, with a number of specimen trees, which provides a tranquil haven as the last resting place.
Medstead Parish Council is a member of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) who were founded in 1913 and since that time has provided policy and best practice guidance to Burial authorities. Although it is not necessary to purchase the exclusive rights in our cemetery, many of us want to reserve a particular place for our loved ones and possibly even be buried with them when the time comes. Burial plots are available to purchase with a Grant of Burial Rights being valid for fifty years from the date they are purchased and you should contact the Parish Clerk for further details at clerk@medsteadpc.org.
