Medstead Players

The Players were founded in 1977 when a few people got together to put on a variety show on the then new Village Hall stage. Since then the group have put on around 75 productions in and around Medstead and raised thousands of pounds for various local and national charities.

The productions vary enormously in scope and style and are well received. A whole range of skills are necessary to ensure a successful production. As well as acting, we design and build sets, paint and decorate, make and find costumes, operate the sound and lights, hunt out props, direct, prompt, stage manage and script write. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month, usually in the Wiltshire room at the Village Hall. We are a friendly group, always keen for new members.
